Textiles & Staging

A process gallery highlighting textile prototyping, micro-pattern management, and thematic character styling. From tailored miniature garments featuring functional pockets to hand-crafted holiday relief figures, this section demonstrates absolute precision in structural edge-stitching, fabric manipulation, and spatial balance, serving as a pristine presentation of cross-disciplinary versatility and narrative environmental design.

The Spooky Soft Sculpture Series is an exploration of tactile prototyping, material contrast, and physical character design. This collection showcases three distinct hand-sewn figures, each serving as an exercise in manipulating diverse textiles—from structured paisley prints and translucent layered tulle to rough, distressed burlap and gauze. By balancing vibrant patterns against high-contrast button fixtures, the series demonstrates how spatial geometry, meticulous edge-stitching, and thoughtful fabric selection can breathe whimsical, story-driven life into three-dimensional holiday forms.

The Muppet Show Finished.jpg

An exercise in kinetic typography replication, line control, and textile painting. This custom piece features hand-painted and drawn elements applied directly to fabric, faithfully recreating the iconic branding and stylized signature autographs of classic characters from The Muppet Show. The design challenge centered on achieving absolute ink precision on a flexible, porous textile surface, ensuring clean linework and vibrant color saturation. It serves as a texturized portfolio case study in translating complex commercial logos and hand-lettered scripts into durable, physical media.

It's on...like Donkey Kong!

An exercise in kinetic pixel-art translation, geometric grid precision, and textile painting. This custom project features a hand-painted rendering of the classic 8-bit Donkey Kong arcade graphic, applied directly onto a smooth synthetic leather surface. The technical design challenge centered on executing absolute linear symmetry and sharp 90-degree right angles without the aid of a digital grid, ensuring uniform color blocking and crisp boundary lines. Accompanied by a curated mix of woven textures, pop-art paneling, and tactile fiber accents, the piece serves as a portfolio study in translating vintage digital iconography into a stylized, physical lifestyle product.

Character design brought to life through textile engineering and structural prototyping. This gallery showcases a custom-fabricated miniature autumn wardrobe, focusing on the mechanics of material scaling, pattern composition, and functional micro-design. By pairing meticulous tailoring with cinematic, low-angle editorial photography, this project stands as a testament to cross-disciplinary versatility—where tactile craftsmanship and visual storytelling converge.
